Senior Product Manager · AI / ML · Trust & Safety · Fraud / Risk

Building technology for messy, consequential real-world problems.

I’m Kyi. I work across product, policy and operations, mostly on problems where technology has to work in the real world. Over the past six years, I’ve helped build and scale products, programmes and systems across AI, trust & safety and public-interest technology.

I currently build national-scale anti-scam products at GovTech Singapore, using AI/ML and operational systems to make online spaces safer.

Selected work

Products and systems built to create measurable outcomes.

My work has ranged from AI-driven safety systems to 0→1 public-interest products and learning platforms. The common thread is building something useful, getting it into the hands of real users, and making it work at scale.

Building national systems to detect and disrupt scams at scale.

Leading four national AI-enabled anti-scam products across websites, mobile lines, social media and messaging platforms.

I also lead experiments on emerging AI-enabled abuse, from deepfake voice scams and synthetic identities to conversational scam agents and automated personas, translating what we learn into better detection approaches, policies and evaluation criteria.

About

Why I care about this work.

I’m most interested in technology when it meets real life: whether a system keeps someone safer, makes something easier to understand, or gives more people the ability to benefit from new tools.
